March 7th through 14th, 2008, renowned Smithsonian Institution Scholars will be featured guests of the Arts Council for Long Beach in celebration of Smithsonian Week 2008. The week-long celebration of in-school presentations, free community events, lectures, workshops, receptions and activities will focus on sharing the wonders of the 2008 scholars’ expertise in various genres.
